-God said to Abram : leave this place,your relatives,everything behind and go to the place Ill show you ,
-Oh No God ,You will show me and then Ill go .NO, (says God) You go and I will show you !
-So What is your boat ? What about a Boat of passivity ? Not taking any decisions ,because of Fear!
-You don’t need Wishbones you need Backbones!
-We need to take some responsibilities,Nobody can make you unhappy if you want to be happy!
-Stop giving somebody else the responsibility for your Joy!
-There is a time to grieve but there is a time to go on!
-We can Pitiful or you can be Powerful,take your pick but you are not going to be both!
-If you spend a lot of time feeling sorry for yourself ,you need to get out of that pitiful boat! Because Jesus is not in the boat ,Jesus was out walking on the water,there was a storm going on ,the 11 disciples would have probably love it if Jesus had gotten into the boat,but He didn’t ,He called them out of the boat! So Jesus is not gonna come into our little boat of misery and make us feel better and pat us on the head! No No No ,we have the power of the Holy Ghost ,The power of the universe is living inside of us…..
-Do we believe the Bible,the Bible that will never allow us to come under more than what we can bear-So it is foolish to say I cannot do this or stand that ,Because if it was the case,God would have never allowed it to come on you to start with !
-When you are in the boat you don’t feel like you can do anything..What ‘IF’s ‘at coming at you all the time! But we need to go for it anyway.
-The only way to find out is step out.Jesus doesn’t get in your boat, HE shows up when you get out of the boat!
-Do you think that Queen Esther wasn’t scared of course she was scared,her life was on the line!
-Story of the 4 lepers -If we stay here we are gonna die,so we better take a chance and get out of the boat, that if we will step out God will be there and do something supernatural.
-If you are afraid then : DO IT AFRAID!
-Whatever you run from is going to come to chase you ! You have to confront your fears!
-Is your boat ‘Boredom’ : Boredom is like the common cold to the soul you function with it, but You feel lousy!
-Nobody should live a life of boredom,not after Jesus died to give us such a exiting life .
-Anything that you fear has power and authority over you and sooner or later it s going to come back full circle and you will have to deal with it!
Walk on water brings a great inspiration to me.
